Our Ministries

Christian Education

The Christian Education Ministry Team seeks to provide opportunities for faith development for all ages in a comprehensive and cohesive way. To connect with any education programs, please contact our church office.

Children’s Sunday School (3-years-old – 5^th Grade): Sundays from 8:30 – 9:20 a.m.

Confirmation (6^th – 8^th Grade): Sundays from 8:30 – 9:20 a.m. and Wednesdays from 5:45-7:45 p.m.

Youth Group (6^th – 12^th Grade): We hold various youth events throughout the year for our youth to enjoy fellowship together.  Our high school youth are encouraged to participate in helping with our Children’s Sunday School or attend our adult Sunday School.

Adult Sunday School: Sundays @ 8:30 a.m.

Outreach

Currently Redeemer has various outreach ministries in order to provide assistance to our community especially in our current challenging times.

Free Little Pantry: If you are in need of food or personal care items, we have a Free Little Pantry in front of our main entrance. Food to refill the pantry is kept just inside the south door of the church.

Free Little Library: Books are available for children or adults. Take what you need or leave books for others.

Heal House of Iowa: Redeemer maintains the “My Sanctuary” room of the Heal House.  

Table of Plenty: Our community meal is held on the second Thursday of every month from 5:30-6:30 p.m. For now, we are offering home cooked grab and go meals.

Lutheran World Relief Quilts: The Redeemer quilting group meets on Mondays at 9:00 a.m.

Prayer Wall: Our prayer wall is an opportunity for anyone in the community to write a prayer on a ribbon and tie it on the wall, to join with the prayers of others as we lift our cares and concerns to God.

Music

Our Worship and Music Ministry team works hard to enhance our worship experience through art and music. We offer traditional and contemporary music in our worship. If you have a musical talent you would like to share, please contact our office.

In ordinary circumstances we have an adult choir, children’s choir and many opportunities for instrumental music.
